Course Description
"This course will focus on information pertaining to exceptional children.  Emphasis will be placed on the identification, etiology, and the intellectual, physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and educational variance of students with disabling conditions.  Definitions, prevalence, causation, legal issues, and special education interventions and techniques will also be discussed.

This class made me aware of an area of need that I previously had no knowledge of.  Of all of my courses, I think this one will probably have the greatest impact on my future.  Having worked with exceptional students during observations, I now realize that this is another population that I definitely want to keep working with.
