This started out as a classroom assignment. However, I've decided to use this website to keep track of my progress toward completing the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) physics program at CSU.

I have always had an interest in teaching. I can definitely date that back to second grade.  In second grade, I volunteered to help the kindergarten class with letter recognition and counting.  So, that was the beginning.  Since then I have served as a tutor, teaching assistant, co-instructor, and instructor in the areas of physics, mathematics, and/or logic. I obtained a B.S. in physics and mathematics from CSU. As mentioned above, I am currently pursuing the M.A.T. for secondary physics. I intend to obtain certification in physics, mathematics, and chemistry.

Having volunteered at various high schools and tutored high school students, I have found that this is a population that I enjoy working with. I am currently conducting research in physics education and hope to continue in this research while completing the M.A.T. program.
